THE DESIGN INITIATIVE, INC. is an interdisciplinary, WBE-certified, interior architecture and design firm, in its 25th year of business. For over two decades we have worked with public and private clients to exceed their expectations of what architecture can bring to their learning, work and living environments.

We are architects, educators and involved citizens. We advise and support businesses, and towns as volunteers and commissioned professionals.

We believe in design education and design process as a tool for positive change and are present in the schools at all levels – from grade to graduate school – coursework and workshops.
